Provide governance for the creation of an enterprise approach to healthcare and human
services.
Promote a culture of interoperability among Illinois Healthcare and Human Services (HHS)
agencies, identify and provide resources and insights toward interoperability
Leverage the federal/state investments in the Health Information Exchange (HIE), the
implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)



