SURTECTOR PR164 SERIES
Surtector Multiple Protection Modules
for 1, 2 or 3 lines, for the protection
against transients on: PABX'S,
telephone systems and data lines.
Five years guarantee.
WHY SURTECTOR
All the protection modules of the
Surtector series have been designed
and manufactured following the
market indications and according to
the specific needs and requests of the
service companies, installers and end
users.
All the modules of the Surtector series
are provided with a special patented
circuit which ensures the "Self Piloting
effetct" able to assure a total
protection to your equipment.
HOW SURTECTOR WORKS
THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND A
STANDARD PROTECTOR
When for any reason, the
overvoltage (against the ground)
on the two line wires is not
simultaneous, a standard protector
usually grounds only the first wire
on which the transient comes.
Therefore it may happen that the
current associated to the
overvoltage coming on the second
wire goes to ground using the
same way of the first wire, but
crossing through the equipment.
THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND FITRE'S SURTECTOR PR164 SERIES
The Fitre's protector PR164 SURTECTOR thanking its "self piloting
effect" acts on both the wires also in case the overvoltage at the
beginning affects only one wire.
The operating time of the protector PR164 is so fast to make it
compatible also with the most, sophisticated electronic equipments.
CONSEQUENCES
The equipment and the protector are always saved.
CONSEQUENCES
The protector doesn't burn but the
equipment will be damaged
