Top Sector Chemistry Student Competition
Together with the Top Sector Chemistry, NWO Chemical Sciences organizes a student competition this
year. Teams of Master students were invited to submit their ideas for an interesting and creative
research project, focusing on a societal or industrial research question. Research proposals have been
assessed by a chemistry-broad selection committee and four student teams were selected as finalists in
the competition. They worked on their proposed projects in the summer of 2014, and recently presented
their results to the selection committee in an interview. At CHAINS 2014, the student teams will present
their projects in a short movie. And, of course, the winning team will be announced.
