Akutboende inför hösten
Bostadsbristen i Uppsala kan göra att det blir svårt för nya studenter att hitta bostad. Därför har Uppsala
studentkår tillsammans med Uppsala universitet och Uppsala kommun försökt underlätta situationen
genom att ordna akutboende.
Augusti
Under augusti månaden har vi anordnat 20 st
bäddar under veckan 34 och 35. Detta kan man
anmäla intresse för redan nu och själva boendet
betalar man ingenting för utan man betalar för
extra service om man vill ha det. Detta inkluderar
lakan för 20kr och frukost för 25kr (cirkapriser).
September
Under september månad har vi bokat in stugor
och rum, 30 bäddar drygt , för hela månaden
för de som inte hittar boende innan den första
oktober. Detta är alltså akutboende för en lite
längre period för att ge lite mer tid för att kunna
hitta bostad. Detta kan man också anmäla intresse
för nu och månadskostnaden kommer att vara
3500kr. Stugorna delas av 4 studenter och rummen
av 2. Hyran måste betalas in till Uppsala studentkår
för att platsen ska kunna bokas, dock senast den
15 augusti. Ifall man behöver säga upp sin plats
efter man har betalat efter den 15 augusti, har vi
inte möjlighet att ge tillbaka pengar, förutom om
vi lyckas hyra ut platsen till en annan student.
Utöver detta har Uppsala studentkår ett samarbete
med Uppsala Vandrarhemmet för förmånliga
priser till våra studenter. Det kan man också boka
redan nu.

Emergency housing for next semester
Housing is scarce in Uppsala and it might be difficult to find housing in time for the start of the
semester. That is why Uppsala Student Union, Uppsala University and Uppsala municipality are trying to
ease the transition by boking emergency housing for new students.
August
During August we have arranged 20 sleeping
places during August 23rd and up to September
3rd. You can book a bed now and the bed itself
costs nothing. However if you would like to rent
sheets och have breakfast you would need to pay
20 and 25 kr respectively (approximately).
September
For September we have booket small houses and
rooms, around 30 , which are booked for the
entire month. The idea is to buy those of you who
did not get housing for the first of September
some time to keep looking. You can book a bed
now and the cost is a months rent of 3.500kr. The
rent needs to be deposited in Uppsala Student
Unions account for the booking to be complete,
this should be done at the latest the 15th of
August. If you, for any reason, need to cancel your
booking after the 15th of August then we cannot
refund the amount paid, unless we succeed in
renting out to someone else. The small houses take
in 4 people with the rooms take in 2 people.
Except for these booking the Uppsala Student
Union cooperates with Uppsala Vandrarhem,
giving our students better prices. You can even
book this now.
