PRISHÖJNINGAR OCH BRIST PÅ RÅVAROR
Det är turbulens i marknaden med kommande råvarubrist pga bönderna som håller djuren inne .
Man skickar mycket färre djur för slakt vilket leder till råvarubrist.
Men historiskt sätt så när slakten kommit igång så följs detta upp med ett överskott av kött vilket
leder till väldiga prissänkningar.
Men detta kan dröja . Spekulerar man så handlar det om veckor och kanske även månader.
Och då rasar priserna igen.
Anledningen till att det höjs är tex följande:
1. Brist på kött, slakterier i Europa går på ca 60 % av deras vanliga volym
2. Mjölkkossorna behålls så länge som möjligt för att de ska få ut det sista av mjölken (som de
får bra betalt för).
3. På Hollands största slakteri där de normalt slaktar 6 500 djur i veckan slaktade de 3 senaste
veckorna ca 2 200 djur
4. Irland har blivit godkända på handel till USA, de säljer stora volymer dit
5. Normala år brukar det finnas bra volymer i frysarna, i år så finns det ca 15 % av dessa
volymer.
Brev från leverantör om situationen.
1e there is a lot demand in America and is buying extreme in South America and in Ireland (Ireland is
buying a lot in Scotland and Uk, then we can get for a normal price in UK!)
The currancy rate is for Russia a big problem to buy in South America but in Europe is the Euro to
expensive (from every side not interesting). The Trimmings price in America is double so high then in
Europe!
2e the milk quota is no longer exists any more that means the farmer wait so long as possibly to bring
“ the old cow” to the slaughterhouse (everybody wants the cattle and we are buying unther force and
yes pay to much)
(the last 5 weeks we deboned just 4 days in stead of 5 (really no cattle enough in the whole
market; Dk and Uk nothing to get, Germany, Holland, Poland very less every where the same!)
3e Pork was in half year every week cheaper but the last 4 weeks is back on return that the difference
is gone. Retail had almost just pork promotions but must do now also beef in the advertisements
(more demand for beef)
4e what we are feeling is that this exceptional price raising will be during for minimum several weeks
and probably several month longer!
5e after almost 2 years with Scandals and difficult selling the market is better and there was and is
more demand many companies have there freezers empty. And who has standing something don’t
sell for a cheap because next week it is worth more money!
