the child-sized
Lamini.
Yngve Ekström, the designer.
Yngve Ekström certainly knew the
value of detail, but he did not think small.
More than150 of his designs were
produced. He founded Swedese
in1945 and became one of Sweden’s
leading furniture designers in the
golden years of Scandinavian Modern.
For Swedese he designed the Lamino
in1956. So successful it was dubbed
the 20th Century’s Best Swedish
Furniture Design.
Yngve Ekström förstod verkligen vikten
av detaljer, men han tänkte inte smått.
Han formgav mer än150 produkter.
Han grundade Swedese1945 och blev
en av Sveriges ledande möbelformgivare.
Bäst känd ur hans stora produktion
är fåtöljen Lamino. Så framgångsrik att
den valdes till1900-talets Bästa Svenska
Möbeldesign.
