Andrea Klarin
Biography
Andrea is a famous photographer born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1972. At the age of eighteen
he began his obsession with photography and fashion and at twenty-two pursued his studies.
Education: He studied photography for three years at Brussels an art school in Belgium where
he currently resided. He now works for WE management and lives in Paris.

Style
• Andrea expresses his work with lots of movement
working with all sorts of angles. Fashion, beauty
and glamour are also shown in his work
• From color blocking, slow motions shots, texture
and lighting. He has a a unique way of taking
photos differently every time because of his
technique.
• He reflects his technique in various different
ways and his style still comes through the
pictures in a strong way
In this photograph it is hard to tell whether it is
using artificial or natural lighting I think its using
a bit of both. The light is coming from the right
and it creates depth in the background. The
main subject is the hand along with the crystal
ball he is holding the way the background is
blurred and towards the left center makes it a
great shot. The details in the sphere add a lot
more creating an amazing photo in my opinion.
I think the photographer is trying to tell a story
between the man of the direction he would go
and blurs out the bad side. I chose this photo
mainly because the effect it created and the
angles.

This photo’s is creating artificial lighting it is taken inside
and it uses the models to create shadow and light. The light
looks like it’s coming from the right hitting at the angle the
models are posing. The main subject would be the models
because it uses the contrast between the background and
clothing focusing more in the middle where the models are.
The composition makes this photo striking because of the
way the models are, by the movement they are creating and
it helps create shadow in the background the lighting also
helps. I think there is a story looks like they’re dancing and
the expression on the models makes it more realistic. I
chose this photograph because I like the main subject. It
got my attention and I love black and white photos.

The lighting in this photograph is created outside but it
also uses other artificial lighting. It is coming from the
right. The main subject of this photograph is the model
because of her pose and use of movement it makes it
more interesting rather than dull. The lighting really helps
this photo a lot and the way it is used, also the angle from
where it was taken it uses rule of thirds. The mountains in
the back create depth and shadow. I think the
photographer is took this photo mainly to sell or create
advertising of the clothing and it uses the colors to make
it better. I chose this photograph because I like the setting
and lighting in the background it’s more surreal.

The lighting in this photograph is artificial it
is created by the clothing the model is
wearing, but it looks like it’s coming from the
left side. The main subject of this photo in my
opinion would be the clothing she is wearing
it is a great contrast between the model and
piece of clothing by having the stripes and
being a black and white photograph. It stands
out and strikes through, also this is a rule of
thirds photo. The is photographer is creating
this photo mostly for the purpose of selling
the item she is wearing and her expression is
vague. I chose this photograph because it got
my attention by the contrast, lines, angles
and lightning going on and I thought it was a
very interesting photograph.

In this photograph the lighting is artificial but it is
created with light and branches making it look
outstanding. It appears to be coming from the center
but also from the right creating shadow around the main
subject. Here the main subject is the model because of
the colors and shadow and lighting hitting her from
both sides; it grabs your attention. The color scheme
make it more striking and the shadow around it
becoming lighter towards the center helps it more. I
don’t think there is a story In my opinion. It seems
more of a fun photo to take just for the purpose of
selling the item she is wearing by using the colors. I
chose this photograph mainly because I liked how the
contrast and colors went together perfectly and rule of
thirds is also used.
