During 1992–2000, the highest numbers of fatal occupational injuries in agriculture, forestry,
and fishing were reported by California (646), Texas (384), Florida (313), Kentucky (298),
Pennsylvania (289), and Tennessee (271).
CareerSafe Online for Students
The CareerSafe Safety Awareness Training is the
first of its kind. It is an interactive, web based
program designed to provide entry-level workers,
particularly high school and college students,
with fundamental safety knowledge needed in the
workplace.

 Targets Safety Topics
CareerSafe Safety Awareness Training
The CareerSafe Safety Awareness training provides students
with 5 hours of basic safety awareness training. Topics are
common workplace safety principles that provide a basic
foundation of workplace safety practices. Students who
successfully complete the CareerSafe Online Safety
Awareness training course receive a CareerSafe Online safety
awareness training completion card.





