Emotional maturity : Parents need to be able to put the child’s needs ahead of their own. Expect nothing in return for their attention, control their temper, and handle being constantly on call.

Desire for parenthood : People shouldn’t choose parenthood to solve personal problems such as low self-esteem or marriage difficulties.

 C. Health: Some medical problems can affect the health of the baby or the parent’s ability to care for the child.
