Diet
Two things it eats are birds and monkeys.
The clouded leopard is a carnivore.
Structures
• A clouded leopards camouflage
helps sneak up on its prey. The
clouded leopards jaws can open
larger then any other cat to help
it eat its prey.
Behavior
• Clouded leopards can climb upside
down on a tree branch and when sees
prey it leaps off the tree. They choose
too live in trees.
Habitat
• Clouded leopards live in forest at elevations of
8,000 feet in southern China.
Interesting Facts
• A clouded leopard’s closest cat member’s
the smaller cats. A clouded leopard’s baby
weighs 2 ounces. The clouded leopard
can have 2-5 cubs. Clouded leopards live
17 years in captivity. Clouded leopards
typically weigh about 28 pounds.
What If
• The clouded leopard would not
be able too catch it’s prey and it
would die.
