Habitat
• Triceratops lived in Wyoming, Montana,
Saskatchewan, and Alberta. No one knows
what it’s habitat looked like.
Diet
• A triceratops diet is plants and woody
growth of trees.
Adaptations
• Some of the adaptations are it’s frill, horns,
and living in very large herds.
What If?
• If triceratops didn’t have it’s adaptations it
probably wouldn’t survive. Without horns,
triceratops wouldn’t have defense. Without
it’s frill, triceratops wouldn’t be able to
defend it’s neck. If triceratops didn’t live in
herds, triceratops wouldn’t be able to
protect it’s young, equaling in extinction.

• Triceratops actually had two real horns, the horn on
its nose is made of different material.
• Triceratops has mainly one predator,
Tyrannosaurus Rex.
• The paleontologist who named triceratops thought
it was an ancient type bison.
• Triceratops was one of the last dinosaurs standing.
• Triceratops is the second most popular dinosaur.
