Multiple Meanings
• Many words have more than one meaning.
• One type of multiple meaning word,
homographs, are words that are spelled the
same but have different meanings and may
be pronounced differently.
• Using context clues will help you determine
the meaning of words.
• Remember a dictionary will always have all
the meanings of words.
Now lets review some
