Background
 Appealed for a volunteers to participate on the
working group
 Received a cross section of volunteers from:
 Private sector providers
 Public sector providers
 Associate members
 Working group met on several occasions over the last
12 months.

 Formulated from discussion and consideration of the
different service delivery practices
 Worked in collaboration with NDORS, to finalise a
generic, 16-element question set
 Working group has received assistance from providers
testing the question sets
 Feedback from testing was positive.

Working Group Aim
 Our Aim:
To encourage, develop and facilitate the implementation
of an uniform service delivery standard, throughout
the UK

Working Group Objectives
 Issue every service provider with a question set
designed to evaluate the fundamental aspects of
service delivery;
 To assist providers with collating the evidence required
for NDORS External Assessing;
 To maintain a “working-document” using feedback
from providers to enhance the quality of the question
set.

The Future
 “Monitoring the Management of NDORS” training to
be delivered by NADIP on:
13 November 2012
 Training day will form 1 part of the NDORS training

 Each provider to be issued with a hard copy version of
the question set
 Completed question sets will assist you greatly with
the NDORS External Assessments
 NDORS External Assessors will be trained by NADIP
to use and understand the question sets.

 Providers to start maintaining folders for “Monitoring
the Management of NDORS” following completion of
the training;
 Document file must be completed by:
28 February 2013
 NDORS External Assessments to commence shortly
after this date.

 NADIP to continue working to complete:
 Classroom / Theory Element Monitoring
 On-Road / Practical Element Monitoring
 “Best Practice” bolt-on elements to supplement the 16
element NDORS question set.
