What do Gorillas Look Like?

A boy gorilla can weigh 390 pounds, on it’s legs it can be 6 feet tall.

A girl gorilla can weigh about 200 pounds and are shorter than boys.

Gorillas can be black or brown-grey.

Gorillas don’t have tails.

What do gorillas eat?

Gorillas eat baby insects called grubs, leaves, bark, shoots, stems, roots, flowers, fruit, and termites, and they are omnivores.

What is Under Gorillas Hair?

Strong bones and powerful muscles; their body is more like a humans than any other animal. Gorillas have bones, muscles, and organs that are similar to humans. They have big brains, good eyesight, big eyes, and thumbs they can use.

How do they communicate?

The gorilla has about twenty-five different sounds including screams, grunts, and barks.

They have moods like humans. They can be happy, sad, jealous, and laugh when they are tickled.

What do gorillas do all day?

A gorilla has breakfast then takes a nap and travels in the afternoon; most of the gorillas daylight hours are spent feeding or resting. As sunset comes the gorilla gets ready for bedtime by making a nest.

Where do Gorillas Live?

Gorillas live in the tropical lowland forests of western and central
