Differentiated Split Class Description
• A class with more than one teacher is
divided into smaller groups according to
learning needs. Instructors provide their
respective group with the instruction required
to meet their learning needs.

A construction math class has learners who
grasp adding fractions and those who need
more practice.
• One teacher works with the students who
understand adding fractions to expand their
knowledge to subtraction of fractions.
• The other teacher reviews or re-teaches those
students who require further instruction and
practice with adding fractions.
