Understanding SimStore
•
Registering a “Device”
– A “Device” is an Instructor Application (IA)
– You must register this in the SimStore in order download scenarios to it.
– You can do this 2 ways
• Online via “Register Device at SimStore” from IA
• Offline via “Export Device Key” in IA and “Load Device Key” in SimStore
•
Allocating “Content”
– You allocate “Content” to a device that is registered in SimStore.
– This “assigns” a scenario to a device.
– This does not download the scenario … it only “points to” a device
•
Downloading content
– This downloads scenarios to the device.
– It first must be allocated, then it can be downloaded.
– You can do this 2 ways
• Online via “Synchronize” in IA
• Offline via “Download” in SimStore and “Import Offline Content” in IA
