• One theory is that it
was commissioned by
Bishop of Bayeux, half

the Norman invasion in

• The years 449-1485 were ten centuries defined
by war.
• The Anglo Saxons invade Britain in the 5th Century
and ends in civil wars of the 15th Century.

• Engle meaning the “Angles” referring to one of
