Only look at the object you are drawing
(expect distortion).
2. Draw as many edges and details as
possible.
3. Use one continuous line; “take a walk
with a line” around the object never
lifting your pencil.
4. Focus on observation.

TAKE YOUR TIME; 3 minutes per drawing.

Rest of Class:
Complete at least 1 modified contour
drawing (half the back) of your SHOE or
your BACKPACK.
THE OBJECT MUST BE ON THE TABLE.
These drawings should FILL THE PAGE, and
include as much DETAIL AS POSSIBLE,
without any shading or hatching. ONLY
EDGES.
Finish the drawing by tracing your lines
with Sharpie.
