gallery.

Did you know that on June 3, 1968 Andy
Warhol, a art critic and a curator (Mario
Amaya) were shot in Andy’s studio by Valerie
Solanas. This was caused because the factory
turned down Solanas, because she wanted
one of her scrip's back, but they said no.
Therefore she got angry and shot them. Later
on Solanas had minor injuries, but Andy was in
severally injured.(surgeons had to open his
chest and massaged his heart to help its
movement again.)From then on Andy suffered
physical effects for the rest of the live. But no
one cared because two days later Robert F.
Kennedy was assassinated!

He was criticized for a lot of things and
one is for being a business artist.

I picked him because I like the way he
was thinking when he thought of making
art out of American products.

I like Andy Warhol because when he got
shot and was in the hospital he fought for
his live.

One of Andy’s screen prints
was a Campbell’s Soup Can.
