This study will be a high-level examination of
the government’s approach to managing
flood risk. It will focus on:

appraisal – whether decision making
around flood management is sound
and based on best available
evidence;
Sustainability of funding
arrangements - given longer term
uncertainties and risks; and
Infrastructure security – how flood
provision fits into the overall system
for managing and supporting UK
infrastructure.
