AHCAS is a joint venture between Association of Schools of Allied Health
Professions (ASAHP) and Liaison International

2010 Program Services performed program needs survey
 Identified interest in developing a CAS for Allied Health professions

2010 – 2012 ASAHP staff performed feasibilities studies

End 2012 – ASAHP staff received the “go ahead” from senior staff

Initial meeting with Liaison International occurred the one month prior to Spring
Meeting 2013

Anticipated release date of AHCAS is beginning of September 2013 for 2014

What is a CAS?
A centralized Application Service (CAS) is a full service web based
application system, designed to streamline the application process
for students in respiratory care, radiologic and imaging sciences
and the laboratory sciences. A CAS will also streamline the
reviewing process for institutions.
