Writing with Adverbs
 A word that describes a verb is an ADVERB. Some
adverbs answer the question “how?”
 The dog barked LOUDLY.
 The tiger waits PATIENTLY.
 The girl sits QUIETLY.
Adverbs that tell
Where and When.
 Some adverbs answer the question “Where?”
 It has beautiful pictures INSIDE.
 Some adverbs answer the question “When?”
 Let’s travel to the beach TODAY.
Preposition or Adverb?!
Adverbs describe the verb.
He ran outside.
Prepositions describe the noun.
He was outside the classroom.
