Fulbright U.S. Student Program
Two Types of Grants
Research/Study Grant
• ~1,000 awards
• 8-12 months
• Independent research, study, or creative and performing
arts projects abroad
English Teaching Assistantships:
• ~600 awards
• 8-12 months
• 20-30 hours a week helping to teach English and U.S.
culture in the classroom
• Remaining time spent on a community-focused project
