The Time to Learn Strategy includes requirements for
minimum time for mathematics Primary–9

Mentors

We formed a team of Lead Mentors of up to 8 Mathematics
Mentors and up to 8 Literacy Mentors.
•
These 16 Lead Mentors helped shape the mentoring
initiative in Nova Scotia.
•
First module ran this summer (NSELC)
•
Grants will be provided to boards to support this program.
•
Our long-range goal is to provide mentor services to all
schools, Primary–9.
