What is the ‘Friends and Family Test’?
• A simple question – “Would you recommend this
service to friends or family if they needed similar
care?”
• Used in hospitals – e.g. Accident and Emergency,
Maternity
• South Norfolk – trialing using the Test in Community
Hospital locations and services
How will it work in Primary Care?
• 36 Practices nationwide started using the test in
October 2013
• Aimed at providing regular and timely feedback on
services
• Practices will roll out the Friends and Family Test in
December 2014
