History of our school - is the story of our area . Secondary school № 879
for the first time opened its doors to students in September 1971. At that
time, it had 1,800 students. They were the first.
The first director of the school was Kuzmina Margarita Alexandrovna .
She gathered pedagogical collective of like-minded , who laid the
tradition of the school and for many years gave his heart for children.

Currently teaching staff of the school is headed by Olga Filipovna
Maltseva .
Today state budget educational institution school № 879 - is an
educational institution with vast experience and rich traditions . The
school works closely with the Moscow Aviation Institute , Moscow
Engineering Physics Institute , Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys.
In 2006 the school received the status of " School of Health" .
