How to Submit An Abstract

English text mandatory
Categories: Ranging from basic science to husbandry
Format: recommend compliance with AALAS Guidelines

• All poster abstracts must be submitted online to: Kristi Kelly
krskelly@ucdavis.edu by posted deadline to be considered for
presentation.
• Required submitting author information: email address, institutional
affiliation, intended presenter, local branch affiliation
• Previously-presented abstracts/posters welcomed!
Poster Session Accommodations
• Recommended materials: poster, business cards of
presenter, 50-150 color copies of poster (8.5”x11”)
• Prizes: $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, $100 for
3rd place, $100 Gift Basket for People’s Choice Award
• Hanging Materials: only thumb tacks will be provided
• Recommended poster size: 48” wide x 38” high
• Easel Size: 48”x 48”
Criteria for Evaluating Submissions
• Relevance to laboratory animal science profession
• Appropriateness to District 8 session format
• Clarity of writing
