SUMMARY
Enrollment management planning requires a
broad and deep understanding of current internal
and external environment.
 Environmental scanning is the process of
gathering/analyzing information about
demographic, economic, industry/workforce,
socio-cultural, education, technology, and fiscal
factors that influence the direction and goals of
our enrollment (from recruitment to graduation).
 The outcome of the ES is the SWOT analysis
 From the SWOT analysis, the outcome is the
identification of critical or strategic issues.

