GACE assessments must be attempted prior to program completion and passed for candidates to be
eligible for certification. edTPA must be passed for program completion and certification. Livetext
Assignment with Mentor Teacher Certification ID must be submitted.

receive certification if they are

Standards Commission’s
adoption of new policies has
resulted in changes to your
teacher certification
program.

the GACE Ethics
Program Entry
Assessment (350)and
obtain a Preservice
Certificate prior to Field
Placements.

All candidates must
attempt the GACE
Content Assessment and
GACE Ethics Program
Exit (360), and pass the
edTPA to counted as a
program completer.

Candidates’ cooperating
teachers’ certification ID
must be submitted to
the PSC for candidates to
be counted as a
completer.
