Year 10 Business Unit

marketplace.
» In recognition of the The Dignity of Work and the
Rights of Workers, students explored the rights to
full employment, the advocacy for fair trade and
recognition of varying religious beliefs that guide
cultural implications when engaging with overseas
markets.
Science
» Focus on the Principle of Respect for Human
Dignity
» Our unit for Year 7 Semester 2 next year, “Robot
Housework”, focuses on the need to provide support for
aged care by doing tasks that can no longer be managed
in the home.
» Women in Engineering program next term – 20 Year 9 &
10 students will go to UQ and participate in a workshop
run by “Engineers without Borders” – a group that
focusses on engineering solutions for impoverished
people in the world.
