Insurance policy
• Insurance is provided by – Oriental Insurance Company
• All decisions are subject to approval / rejection by OIC
only
• Universal Insurance Brokers ( UIB ) – Are the agents
who check and collect the documents to process the
insurance claims, They have been appointed by OIC
• Terms of depreciation - ON ALL CLAIMS(INCLUDING REPAIR)

0- 90 days – 5%
91 – 180 days – 25%
Above 180 days – 50%
Less / excess – 5% of the claim amount or min 200rs.
For theft claims valued above Rs.15000 FIR is compulsory, and documents
should be submitted within 48hrs of Incident

All Theft claim Documents must be Submitted within 48hrs
of Incident

The documents Required are –
1. Original Invoice – Sangeetha Bill
2. Police Acknowledgement copy – get the documents signed
and acknowledged by the police station ( to mention the
IMEI and model name in the documents is a must )
3. FIR – First Information Report – required from the police
station for only handsets which are above 15000 value
4. Insurance Claim form
5. Imei and Sim Card block form – To be signed and stamped
by the operator – eg- airtel, vodafone, idea,bsnl,etc..

days of incident

1.Original Invoice – Sangeetha Bill
2.Service centre Estimate letter – Given
by the service centre Appointed by

3.Insurance Claim Forms – to be filled by
the customer

How to Claim?

Step 1- Download the documents from www.sangeethamobiles.com
Step 2- Get the Police acknowledgement from the area police station signed and
stamped ( FIR must for value rs.15000 onwards ) – To be submitted within 48hrs of
incident
Submit all documents to Sangeetha Mobiles Insurance Hubs located below
For Bangalore – M/S Sangeetha Mobiles, #47, J.C.Road,next to Minerva restaurant
For Rest of Karnataka – Submit it to the nearest Sangeetha store of purchase or
courier it to – Universal Insurance Brokers services pvt.ltd,#304,commerce house,
9/1 Cunningham road,bangalore-560052
For Hyderabad – M/S Sangeetha Mobiles Pvt.Ltd, #3-6-563/a, Vishawa Bhavan (
next to gayatri Bhavan restaurant ) Himayathnagar, Hyderabad – 500029

Note – Once after Submitting the documents, A claim Number & Loss
Voucher will be given, which can be used for further follow up and later
get the claim once its approved

Step 2-Visit the Service centre Hub Appointed by Sangeetha Mobiles for
Insurance repairs & estimate collection

Step 3- Collect the service estimate from service centre
Step 4 - Submit all documents to Sangeetha Mobiles Insurance Hubs (
Mentioned in earlier slide )

Note – Once after Submitting the documents, A claim Number & Loss Voucher will
be given, which can be used for further follow up and later get the claim once its
approved

ik@universalinsurnce.co.in ( mention your claim number,
imei number, date of submitting documents & reason for
claim )
• All Claim approvals are also uploaded in our website
www.sangeethamobiles.com everyday and the system
will generate a SMS to the customer once its uploaded in
website informing about the status
