Temperate deciduous forest is a biome
found in the eastern United States, Canada,
southern South America, Europe, China,
Japan, North Korea and parts of Russia. A
temperate deciduous forest consists of trees
that lose their leaves every year. Some of
these trees include oak, maple, beech, and
elm. The temperate deciduous biome can
be found on almost every continent.

There are many different
things to do in a temperate
deciduous forest. These
things include:
Some of the animals that live

Forest include:
In a Temperate Deciduous
Forest, there are many different
types of flora, or plants. Some of
these plants include:
The type of clothing you
should wear depends on
the season. In Winter, it is
best to wear heavier
clothes such as a jacket or
pullover. In Summer, it can
get very hot, so it is
advisable to wear lighter
clothes like a T-shirt or
shorts.
In the spring it becomes
warm and usually
brings with it a small
amount of precipitation.
The summers get very
hot and makes the
vegetation flourish. The
fall is often cool and
makes the leaves a nice
mixture of orange,
yellow, and red. The
winter months can get
extremely cold and
makes the vegetation
pull back into a
hibernating state.
It really depends on your
personal preference on
what time of year you
would want to visit. If you
enjoy warm and clear
weather, then you should
definitely visit during the
summer and spring
months. But if you like
colder weather, you should
visit during the fall and
winter months. Overall all
the seasons are nice, but it
is your preference in the
end.
There are Temperate
Deciduous Forests in
North America, a little
bit of South America,
most of Europe, in Asia,
and a little bit of
Australia. You can go to
all these places and
find a temperate
deciduous forest so you
have a big selection of
where to find one and
start your adventure.
There are some dangers you
would have to worry about
when traveling to a Temperate
Deciduous Forest and they
environmental factors. In the
winter you may have to worry
about snowstorms that can
keep you inside and have very
cold temperatures. In the
Spring the rain may cause
flooding that would make it
very hard to go outside. Also,
some animals could make it
difficult to be in a forest. Bears
are a little dangerous if you are
near them so try to keep your
distance and if a wild dog is
hungry its best to keep your
distance. Theses are some
dangers you would have to
worry about.
The Temperate Deciduous Forest is very important
to the earth’s ecosystem. This is because these
regions contain a large amount of both plant and
animal life. This is important to the food chain. Also,
the many different plants and trees provide oxygen
as a byproduct of photosynthesis.
