
Infrasound, A certain type of frequency, is a
frequency that cannot be detected by the human
ear. The pitch of the wave is too low, just below
20 Hertz. Anything below 20 Hertz cannot be
heard by humans. However, animals such as
whales, giraffes, and even rhinos can hear
infrasound. Using it to communicate everyday,
animals are very familiar with this.

Ultrasound, in which is sort of the opposite of
infrasound, is a wave frequency in which the sound
is too high pitched for human hearing. According
to sources, sources say that women are capable of
hearing slightly higher frequencies. Animals such
as bats, cats, and dogs use ultrasound to
communicate and survive.

Diffraction: Waves go around or through
something.
Reflection: Waves bounce back off of
something.
Refraction: Speed of waves vary depending on
the type of medium it’s being passed
through.
