This poem is about a family trip to
Hartland, Newfoundland to go see the
largest covered bridge in the world . with
several stops in between to see a battle site
and to take photos of the Canadian flag

new Brunswick flags limp
windless hot air
honor in the grass
wing feather from raptor
circling overhead

Looking at the Canadian flag as it waves in
the air

while birds fly over head
