EVERLASTING GOD
Strength will rise as we
Wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Our God You reign forever
Our hope, Our strong deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary
You’re the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles
Strength will rise as we
Wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Our God You reign forever
Our hope, Our strong deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary
You’re the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God

You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

Today is the day
I’m casting my cares aside
I’m leaving my past behind
I’m setting my heart and mind
On You Jesus
I’m reaching my hands to Yours
Believing there’s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store
For me is good, it’s good
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won’t worry about tomorrow
I’m trusting in what You say
Today is the day
Today is the day
I’m putting my fears aside
I’m leaving my doubts behind
I’m giving my hopes and dreams
to you Jesus
I’m reaching my hands to Yours
Believing there’s so much more
Knowing that all You have in store
For me is good, it’s good
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won’t worry about tomorrow
I’m trusting in what You say

Today is the day
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it

Remain
Defender of this heart,
You loved me from the start
You never change
Through the highs and lows,
As seasons come and go
You never fail
Day after day Your love will remain
Faithful and true You are good
You are God with us
You're victorious
You are strong and mighty to save
For Your word stands true
There is none like You
And when all else fades
You remain
When troubles come my way
You guide and You sustain
Lead me I pray
Forever You will be
The great eternal King
Now and always
Day after day Your love will remain
Faithful and true You are good
You are God with us
You're victorious
You are strong and mighty to save
For Your word stands true
There is none like You
And when all else fades
You remain
You are God with us
You're victorious
You are strong and mighty to save
For Your word stands true
There is none like You
And when all else fades
You remain

Cannons
It’s falling from the clouds
A strange and lovely sound
I hear it in the thunder and the rain
It’s ringing in the skies
Like cannons in the night
The music of the Universe plays
You are holy
Great and mighty
The moon and the stars
Declare who You are
I’m so unworthy
But still You love me
Forever my heart
Will sing of how great you are
Beautiful and free
Song of galaxies
It’s reaching far beyond
The Milky Way
Let’s join in with the sound
Come on let’s sing it loud
As the music of the universe plays
You are holy
Great and mighty
The moon and the stars
Declare who You are
I’m so unworthy
But still You love me
Forever my heart
Will sing of how great you are
You are holy
Great and mighty
The moon and the stars
Declare who You are
I’m so unworthy
But still You love me
Forever my heart
Will sing of You

WE FALL DOWN
We fall down, we lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of mercy and love
At the feet of Jesus
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lamb
We fall down, we lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of mercy and love
At the feet of Jesus
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lamb

2 Thessalonians 3:6-15
Now we command you, brothers,
in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ,
that you keep away from any
brother
who is
walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that
you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know
how you
ought to imitate us, because
we were not idle when we were
with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it,
but
with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might
not be a burden to any of you. 9 It was
not because we do not
have that right, but to give you in ourselves
an example to
imitate.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-15
10
For even when we were with you, we would give you this
command:
If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
11 For we hear that some among you
walk in idleness, not
busy at work, but busybodies. 12 Now such persons we
command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their
work quietly and to earn their own living. 13 As for you,
brothers,
do not grow weary in doing good. 14 If anyone does
not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person,
and
have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.
15
Do not regard him as an enemy, but
warn him as a brother.
How you view your work,
determines how you do your work.
Genesis 2:15
The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden
of Eden to work it and keep it.
Work isn’t THE curse,
but because of sin, work BECAME cursed.
Genesis 3:17-19
And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to your wife
and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You
shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in
pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and
thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants
of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till
you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you
are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
The root of laziness is spiritual pride.
Don’t grow weary at working hard.
“A great job is like a good relationship-it’s never
perfect, it costs us something and helps us grow
in ways we didn’t anticipate.” David Kinnaman
Don’t enable the lazy people.
Titus 2:9-10
Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to
try to please them, not to talk back to them, 10 and not to steal
from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in
every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior
attractive.
