What is Healthwatch?
We make sure that the overall views and
experiences of people who use health and social
care services are
• heard and
• taken seriously
at a local and national level.
Aim
• Healthwatch Rotherham is here to voice
Rotherham’s communities views and feedback on
Health and social care
• Influence change at a high level of decision
making about your services
• Help to direct money, resources and services to
where they are needed
• Acknowledge the services that work well (from
the perspective of the residents of Rotherham)
How can we be heard?
• We are part of The Health and wellbeing
board where local decisions about the health
and social care priorities are made
• Working with Care Quality Commission, who
look at the quality of services and inspect
