What happened
lemon creak in south East b.c. following a massive jet
fuel spill a few months ago the ministry of environment
says crews are still recovering materials after 35,000 liters
of jet fuel were spilled into lemon creek from a tanker on
July 26.

 The tanker was carrying jet fuel for helicopters
fighting a forest fire in the area lemon creek drains
into the Slocan river there still monitoring the area for
further remains of jet fule.

Half the residents of the kootenays saw and smelled
first hand the dead fish from the spill local resident
Robert Kurt says that there were dead fish from the size
of his thumb to one and a half feet long.
