The City of Brantford is one of the primary land owners in this study area. The Preferred Plan The Planning Partnership + Poulos & Chung + Sernas Associates + PLAN B Natural Heritage + Archaeological Services Inc. + Their + Curran Architects Inc. North of Shellard Neighbourhood + Recreation Plan response What we learned at the Public Open House on September 13th: 1. The community is anxiously anticipating the development of the Institutional Complex and Recreation Centre components of the Plan. 2. The design of the residential community was well received. The community has a desire to see a different type of development from that which is occurring within the south-west area and in the neighbourhoods south of Shellard Lane. 3. Overall, attendees were receptive and excited about the idea of having a new Main Street destination area within the new neighbourhood.
