Babbo Natale brings presents
(if you have been good!!)
ON Christmas and Saint
Stephen we stay with our
family and after a big and
long lunch we play with
cards and bingo (wich is
called TOMBOLA)
…After a few days we say
good bye to the year by
celebrating with a New
year’s Eve dinner (very
similar to Christmas’ Eve
dinner)
After Midnight you can see
in the streets a lot of
Fireworks
Is the holiday finished?
Not yet!! We are still
waiting for…..
LA BEFANA
La Befana vien di notte
con le scarpe tutte rotte!!!
Who is this scary and
old lady???
She is supposed to be the
wife of Babbo Natale
and….
You wait for her putting a
stocking on your
bed
If you have been good she
will bring you… sweets!
If you have been bad
she will bring you.. coal
La Befana comes on the
night of the 5th of January,
like the three Wise men
