Who can enter?
The Awards are open to all types of organisations, regardless of size.
All member organisations can enter and non-members are welcome to enter, as part of their
consideration for joining.
How to enter
Once you have chosen your category/ies you can download the 1500 words entry form from the
website. When completed you simply upload the form back on to the dedicated site there is no
payment for entry.
Your submitted entry will go through a rigorous judging process with the sector’s top HR professionals.
If lucky enough to be shortlisted you will be notified after the judging day being held on 8th August.
All winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner.

What are the rules of entry?
■ All entries must be submitted using the official online entry system by midnight 25th July 2014
■ For your entry to be accepted you must select a category. You can only choose one category for each project.
■ There is no limit to the number of projects that you enter, providing they’re clearly different from each other.
■ Entries must be original this year, or have changed significantly this year in order to be accepted.
■ The name of the entering organisation will always be used as the name referred to in all communications.
■ Shortlisted finalists will be officially announced shortly after 8th August 2014
■ The decision of the judges is final and no further correspondence will be considered. Due to the volume of entries
we cannot always provide individual feedback on entries.
■ The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered.
■ Hrinhospitality and the sponsoring organisations may use footage (photos/video clips) of the Awards dinner.
■ All shortlisted finalists have the right to promote themselves as an Award finalist.
Caterer.comScholarship £2,500 Awards Only
■ To enter this award the individual must have spent at least 3 years in HR and/or Learning & Development but any
level of position is acceptable. They do not have to be currently studying or have recently studied for a HR qualification,
but are genuinely committed to their career and you believe would benefit from this grant .
How to enter a successful entry…..

■ Quantify, quantify, quantify
■ Explain the people aspects of the project
■ Bring out the winning points

The judges this year are…..
The Judging Process
* Judging will take place on 8th August 2014
* Entries are judged by a panel of industry experts and senior professionals from the hospitality sector.
* Judging is split into 2 stages until a shortlist of up to 5 finalists including a winner is decided.
* The first stage of judging is completed online.
* Judges read through all entries & mark accordingly.
* The marks and comments are collated and this determines the shortlist.
* Judges meet to discuss the entries and recommendations are put forward for the winner and highly
commended (if any).
* Winners of each category will be identified by the judges
* All shortlisted entrants will then be notified
