8 Bangladeshi victims rescued (7 are minor ) and 6
traffickers arrested.

Information was received from important functionary of
the Bangladesh law- enforcement machinery to RAW
requesting to trace two teenage siblings Rinku (17) and Eti
(15) allegedly abducted from Dhaka on 14.05.2013.

On 31.05.2013, RAW passed on this information along
with photographs of abducted girls to C.P., Pune City and
requested to locate, rescue and sent back them to
Bangladesh immediately. RAW also assured that they will
assist in repatriation by quickest possible means.

Commissioner of Police,Pune City forwarded the
said information to Mr. Bhanupratap Barge, Sr. P.I.,
AHTU, Pune.

Source of Investigation - While collecting
information from the sources. A auto driver
informed that some days back he had seen both
sisters and had taken them to red light area.
On this information, search for the two sisters was
carried out in red light area i.e. is Budhwar Peth
and Shukurwar Peth of Pune.
The first rescue operation - was conducted in
Shukurwar Peth and four Bangaladeshi minors
were rescued and the brothel manager Pinki
Nilgopal Das (30) was arrested. (Vishrambag

At this point police did not locate the two
sisters.

Second rescue operation – It was
conducted in the same area at Chandani
Building. Here, police rescued a minor girl and
arrested Anita Rambhadur Thapa (33).

3,4,5,6,7 was registered.)
This rescued girl was also not either of the two
sisters.

Third rescue operation – It was also
conducted at Budhwar peth, in Tulsi building,
two minors were rescued of which the younger
Eti of the two siblings was rescued. The Police
arrested agents, Shiva Sunil Vichare (23) and
Taniya Samil Vyapari (27). During interrogation
of one of Taniya, it was revealed that the elder
sister Rinku had been sold to a sex racketer
identified Vilas Ramchandra Kasle, aged 25 yrs,
in Hadapsar area, Pune. (Farskhana Police

The forth rescue operation- Was carried
out after the Police tracked and arrested Vilas
Kalse from Hadapsar area, in row house at Undri
Gaon in Kondhwa area were the elder sister
Rinku was rescued and Police arrested Ravi Kasle
(23) the brother of Vilas kalse and his aide Vishal
Kumar Khopde (24) of Phursungi. Vilas Kasle
had construction business and was also active in
the prostitution racket. (Kondhwa Police Station,

During investigation the girls revealed that they have
been lured with false promises and were abducted by
a trafficker namely Rockey from Dhaka,
(Bangladesh). Who had been closely in acquaintance
with one of the two sisters. Rockey brought them to
Pune and sold them to the brothel keeper Mukti and
Taniya in Pune, for Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 70,000/-.
The Taniya further sold victim Eti to brothel keeper
Anita at Chandni building in Budhwar Peth and
another victim Ankita to accused Vilas Kasle. The
girls were kept in different locations in Pune by these
traffickers.
On rescued after a months agony the sisters met
each other and they broke into tears.

Assistance provided by N.G.O. –
The NGOs working in red light area came across
one of these victim girls and they came forward
to help them. They contacted the victims
relatives in Bangladesh and gave information to
the police and on this information the rescue
operations were planned and carried out.



Repatriation of victims
After the completion of necessary process for
Repatriation the Bangaladeshi minor victims
Rinku (17) and Eti (15) were sent to their native
place.
5 minor and 1 major rescued Bangladeshi
victims are kept in rescue home and their
repatriation is under process.

Conclusion-
. Totally 4 cases were registered under ITPAct.
. 6 traffickers were arrested.
. 8 Bangladeshi victims were rescued.
. 2 Bangladeshi minor victims were repatriated.
. Repatriation of 6 Bangladeshi victims is in process.
. Investigation completed & chargesheet submitted.
. In this investigation the elements of trafficking viz.
spotter, recruiter, buyer, seller, transporter, brothel
keeper/pimp/financer/harbourer have been operated
and finally rehabilitation and repatriation steps have
been fulfilled.
