FUTURE TENSE verbs show action that is going to happen, but hasn’t happened yet.

It uses the helping verbs will or shall and the present tense form of the verb.

This is when an event has not taken place yet.

I will run down the lane with the dog.

-ic means “having the qualities of ” artistic : artist is a person who practices an art such as painting.

Adding – ic to artist turns it into an adjective that means “having the talents of an artist.”
