Purpose and Format of AMI Hourly Data Files
 CMP will provide a CSV file to provide hourly AMI data for each account
enrolled by the supplier for the settlement day.
 A sample format for the CSV file is as follows:
• 04460502334,003,10/12/2013,2.3,4.4,5.1,6.22,5,5.1,4,3,4.41,5.4,6,66,7.2,8.1,7.88,6.5,6.5,6.7,5.4,6,66,7,2,7.7,
 CMP will populate the FTP site each ISO-NE settlement day (weekends and
holidays will not be populated with new data).
 Files will be available to suppliers by 8:00 a.m. each settlement day.
 Prior daily files will be deleted each settlement day at 6:00 a.m.
 CMP will not repopulate or resend files that are not retrieved by the supplier
for any given settlement day.
 The first business day after a weekend or holiday will contain multiple days
in the same CSV file for each customer enrolled by the supplier. The date
for the AMI date is shown in the example above.
 During the monthly ISO-NE Resettlement process, larger CSV files will be
placed on the FTP site and these files will contain a calendar month’s worth
of AMI data for accounts enrolled by the supplier. Only days enrolled with
the supplier will be provided. (i.e., enrollment on the 15th of the month
would result in the month-end file containing data from the 15th to the 31st)
Q&A Regarding Customer AMI data
 All questions regarding the AMI data/issues must be sent to
supplierservices@cmpco.com
 Will supplier still have access to MV-Web? CMP will maintain the MV-Web
site until notice is provided to all suppliers that the site is no longer
available.
 Can suppliers still request interval data from CMP? Yes – CMP will still
provide data and the $25 per account fee will remain effective for that
service.
 Do suppliers have to subscribe to the FTP site for AMI data? No, this is an
optional service and there is no requirement that all suppliers use this data.
 Who do I contact with questions regarding the IP address and Encryption
Key? Please send all questions to supplierservices@cmpco.com
 Can I ask for data for prior days that my team forgot to download? No, the
data is made available each day and once removed, will not be resent.
CMP is not storing this large volume of data on our side so suppliers must
implement a process to sweep our FTP site each day.
