National Framework
It is proposed that a National Quality Assurance body will
oversee QA in Medical Education and ensure that
standards are maintained in all Medical Colleges through
visits to each Medical College every five years.

The Operational Framework is the set of procedures by
which the MBBS course can be monitored nad evaluated.

External Review



The QA body arrange quinquennial visits to the colleges
by a team of external reviewers.
They would review both the extent to which QA
scheme was being implemented and also the quality of
teaching and learning process.
A report would be made to the college Principal for the
purpose of stimulating a further improvement of
standards.
