SharePoint
Offline Line Files and Folders
Mark specific file or
folder to be
“Available Offline”.
While
“disconnected” - be
able to access
cached copies of files
Offline Line Files and Folders
When re-connected…
Files will automatically
“Re-Sync”.
If conflicts are found –
they will be resolved
based on your choices.
Offline Line Files and Folders
Some items to remember:
• Only available with Microsoft products.
• Keeps your data in sync with X:\ and H:\ drives.
Warning Note – making entire folders or large files available
for offline use may consume large amounts of hard drive
space on your local workstation. Also, the “initial sync” may
take several hours and cause a heavy network load as well.
Please consider this when configuring files or folders for
offline usage.
