In 1985, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) initiated The
Procurement Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement Program
in order to increase competition for small businesses to sell
products and services to the Department of Defense (DoD).
PTAC’s are the bridge between the buyer and supplier. We assist
companies compete for all levels of government contracts - Federal,
State and Local, including Schools & Universities.
There are PTAC’s in every state, comprising over 300 local offices,
and forming a nationwide network of procurement professionals to
help businesses compete successfully in the government
marketplace.

The purpose of the Indiana Procurement Technical
Assistance Center (PTAC) is to generate
employment and improve the general economic
condition of the state by assisting Indiana
companies including those eligible for preferential
consideration in obtaining and performing under
local, state and federal government contracts.
PTAC exists to help Indiana businesses market
their products and services to the federal and state
governments.












