world leader in language training
3. A cultural Mosaic
Canada has a national policy for multiculturalism and works to ensure peoples’ customs and traditions
are preserved and respected.
4. Four Seasons
Four distinct seasons offer variety and their own special pleasures. There is something for everyone,
including indoor and outdoor recreation at no or low cost.
5. Safe and Clean
You will find the campuses and cities safe and clean. Canada is a
peaceful, politically stable, and safe country. The second most
commonly cited reason for choosing Canada is that Canada is a
safe country.
6. Affordable
Tuition and the cost of living in Canada are lower than in other
countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom and the United
States.
7. High Quality
You will find excellent professors, leading scientists, and world renowned
artists and writers as part of the faculty at Canadian educational
institutions
8. Outstanding Facilities
First class libraries and sports facilities, museums and art galleries, theatres
and concert halls: these campuses have it all, including radio stations,
newspapers and stores that are run by students. Muslim students’
societies and prayer rooms are present on almost all campuses
9. Excellent Health Care
Compared to other countries, medical insurance is inexpensive in
Canada, yet the services that Canadian hospitals provide are
among the most advanced and accessible in the world.
10. The Best There Is

Provinces and Territories
Canada is a federation composed of
ten provinces and three territories. In
turn, these may be grouped into
regions: Western Canada, Central
Canada, Atlantic Canada, and Northern
Canada (the latter made up of the three
territories: Yukon, Northwest Territories,
and Nunavut). Eastern Canada refers to
Central Canada and Atlantic Canada
together. Provinces have more
autonomy than territories. The
provinces are responsible for most of
Canada's social programs (such as health
care, education, and welfare) and
together collect more revenue than the
federal government, an almost unique
structure among federations in the
world.
