The Present Continuous
describes an action that is
happening right NOW (at
this moment, today, this
year). The action is still in
progress. It is not finished.
It has two parts: the verb to
be and the gerund (-ing).

In English, the gerund
ends in -ing.

1) If we have consonant + stressed vowel +
