are vital to each member of the
school and community.
Wearing appropriate dress to school promotes a
positive influence on the school climate and
maintains an appropriate educational environment.
Clothing...
must be worn appropriately and in the manner for which it was designed.
• Pants should be worn at
waist level.
NO Lounge wear or Pajamas
• Shoes must be worn at all
times.
No Bedroom Slippers
• Headwear should only be
worn for health, safety, or
religious reasons
NO sunglasses, hats, caps, skullcaps, bandannas, headbands inside the
building.
Clothing
• Undergarments must not be visible.
-Sleeveless shirts must have straps 3 in. wide.
NO backless, strapless, bare-shouldered, spaghetti strap,
or see-through tops, blouses, or dresses.
• Bare skin between upper chest
and mid thigh should be covered.
NO Halter tops,
Midriff must be covered.
NO Low-cut tops.
Clothing
-Shorts, dresses, or skirts must be
2 in. above the knee or longer.
Leggings, tights, jeggings must be
covered with a top that is at least 2
inches above the knee.
Clothing
Clothing shall be free of inflammatory, suggestive, racial, or
other inappropriate writing, advertisement, or artwork.
NO Profanity, obscenity, violence, weapons, or
symbols of hate.
NO Promotion or display of alcohol, tobacco,
drugs.
Anything deemed inappropriate, extreme,
disruptive, offensive, or a health and safety
hazard may not be worn.
No sexist, racist, incestuous, religiously
offensive, or gang-related items.
Rules apply to both male and female students.
If clothing is deemed inappropriate, student will be
required to:
CHANGE into appropriate clothing
OR
May be SENT HOME!
