The Clinical Nurse Specialist for Young
People’s service is specifically aimed at
vulnerable young men and women up to the
age of 20 across Hull and the East Riding of
Yorkshire.
The service offers advice, treatment, support
and contraception provision.
The aim of the survey is to establish the
views of our service users by completing a
yellow card.
Data was collected between 1st August and
31st October 2014 (3 months).

57% of respondents indicated that they would have gone to a family planning or
sexual health clinic if the Young People’s Nurse wasn’t available.
This is a drop on the previous quarter where 70% stated “yes” they would have
gone to a family planning or sexual health clinic.

Moving Forward
The success of the Clinical Nurse Specialist for
Young People friends and family test and more
importantly the excellent feedback received is a
measure of the dedication and care our staff show
towards our clients. This is important feedback not
just to staff but to commissioners.
We look to continue and improve our services
where ever possible and gather all feedback in
order to do so. Please hand out the F&F cards at
every clinical contact.
